I’m a puppeteer and builder based in Colorado. I hold a degree in Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University, with an emphasis in education. I have trained with the Jim Henson Company and the Sesame Street Workshop, studying under Kevin Clash, Marty Robinson, Matt Vogel, Alan Trautman, and others.
Through RoosterSocks, I have taught several puppetry workshops, including those at University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) and Bryn Mawr, as well as high schools and regional theatres throughout the country. I have also served as adviser for artistic staffs in productions at Yale University, Emory University, Denison University, Wesleyan University, and others.
As a “fleshy” actor, I have performed lead roles in productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, La Cage Aux Folles, Anything Goes, A Christmas Carol, and others. I have been featured in national commercials and film projects. In addition to puppetry, I am a professional musician and music director and has served on the artistic staffs of more than fifty productions.
I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.
